A website redesign for the school to reflect their stunning grounds and warm atmosphere.
Hunters Hill Public School is a government school in north-west Sydney. The school approached me about redesigning their old templated website in favour of one that reflected the school's branding and atmosphere. They wanted a professional-looking website that was flexible, easy-to-use, and that they could update themself.
The design I created tries to encapsulate the leafy sandstone feel of the school, while providing space for the school to upload newsletters, notes, news, and galleries of their recent events. Built in Wordpress, the site is alive with updates and changes as the school moves through the year.
I'm a freelance web designer based in Sydney, Australia. Starting out as a hobby in 2008, I now work with great clients from many industries from all over the world.
Specialising in small businesses, schools and non-profit organisations, I know how to best move your offline presence online. I don't talk tech-speak, and always take the time to discuss your project with you and work out what you want to achieve.
I always strive to take a design from ordinary to extraordinary. My designs are beautiful, functional and effective. I think outside the box in order to provide a web experience that has integrity and atmosphere.
On the tech front, I love to use Wordpress and believe in following web standards (this site is all valid xHTML). The code I create is logical, minimal and powerful using the latest HTML, CSS3 and Javascript technology. My sites are fast loading, well built and search engines love them.
